Position Summary:
Reporting to the Managing Director, Member Insights Operations the Director, Content Strategy (Research) role drives digital content strategy for member insights products. This involves collaborating with the product leads to develop comprehensive strategies aligned with their product goals, overseeing the day-to-day execution of these campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to inform future strategies. Additionally, they play a crucial role in optimizing the organization's website and content channels. By effectively managing content management operations, the Director contributes to the organization's mission of fostering collaboration and innovation among healthcare leaders, ultimately driving engagement, increasing brand visibility, and driving commercial success.


Primary Job Duties:
  • Digital content strategy development: Crafting and implementing a comprehensive digital content strategy that aligns with the Member Insights goals. This involves understanding each product’s target audiences, setting content objectives, and determining content distribution channels.
  • Digital content calendar creation and management: Develop and oversee a comprehensive digital content calendar to ensure timely and organized publication across various platforms.
  • Content Management Systems (CMS) Management: Overseeing the use and development of Contentful.
  • Email Marketing System Management: Overseeing the use of Marketo for Member Insights communications.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitoring and analyzing content performance using digital analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of content strategies and identify areas for improvement. Reporting these findings to product leads and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that the digital content strategy supports wider business objectives. This may involve coordinating with marketing, IT, and account management teams.
  • Staff Management: Leading and managing content operations staff. This includes training and providing ongoing feedback and support.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline and optimize digital content management processes, workflows, and procedures, leveraging automation and other technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Technological Proficiency: Keeping up to date with the latest in digital technology and trends to optimize content delivery and to enhance user engagement.
  • Risk Management: Handling content-related risks, such as addressing inaccurate content swiftly and managing negative feedback on digital platforms.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience relevant experience in digital content management or a similar role
  • Proficiency in using Contentful CMS or similar CMS for managing and structuring digital content

  • Excellent analytical skills crucial for analyzing data and improving content strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and engage effectively with various stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to oversee and deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating and guiding a team towards achieving strategic objectives
  • Knowledge of current online marketing tools and trends, including expertise in SEO to enhance content visibility and engagement
  • Ability to swiftly identify and resolve problems, ensuring smooth operations and continuity

Compensation:
Starting salary of $125,000 per year and up plus benefits
